ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—JANUARY 11, 2016 4 <br /> Councilmember McClung reported that the City received seven applications for the open <br /> Council seat. He noted that the City Council was in the middle of conducting interviews of these <br /> candidates and that he looked forward to completing this process and having the Council back up <br /> to a full complement of five members. <br /> Councilmember Holmes indicated that she attended a ribbon cutting ceremony last Friday at the <br /> AHATS site. She stated that she is in favor of the City improving its relationship with the Beyond <br /> the Yellow Ribbon organization in 2016. <br /> Mayor Grant stated that he also attended the ribbon cutting ceremony on the AHATS property <br /> where a Readiness Building for the 834th Aviation Battalion was dedicated. He enjoyed the event <br /> and encouraged the public to tour this new facility. <br /> Mayor Grant reported that he met with the neighboring five mayors recently. He discussed a <br /> development that would be coming to Shoreview in 2016. <br /> Mayor Grant thanked Councilmember McClung for serving as Mayor Pro-Tem in 2015. He <br /> announced that Councilmember Holden would be serving as Mayor Pro-Tem in 2016. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Mayor Grant moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a motion to <br /> adiourn. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> Mayor Grant adjourned the regular City Council meeting at 7:1 , m. <br /> Sue Iverson David Grant <br /> Interim City Administrator Mayor <br />
