DATE: March 14, 2016 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Susan Iverson, Acting City Administrator <br />FROM: John Anderson, Acting Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: County Road 96 / I-35W Interchange - Pay Estimate No. 1 <br />Requested Action <br />Approve payment of invoices to the Ramsey County in the amount of $80,601.30 for the <br />construction of the Co Rd 96 / I35W interchange and $20,933.72 for the design and construction <br />engineering service. <br />Background <br />The City Council approved a cooperative agreement with Ramsey County for the construction of <br />the County Road 96 / Interstate 35W interchange on August 31, 2015. In this agreement the City <br />agreed to pay for the city share of construction and engineering for this project. Based on the bid <br />received the total city share of construction was set at $93,846.30. The engineering services <br />were agreed to be 12% of the bid for design and 12% of the actual construction for construction <br />engineering. <br />Discussion <br />This first pay request includes work through the end of 2015.
