This training strives to learn about family resilience and
develop tools to support resilience among military families as they cope with the stress of
deployment.

As one of the program’s initiatives, the Yellow Ribbon Community Campaign works to connect
and coordinate organizations, agencies, and companies to provide resources and support to
Servicemembers and their families. The City of Arden Hills is not currently an active participant
in Beyond the Yellow Ribbon. Steven and Eileen Scott have volunteered to represent the City in
this initiative.

Council Action Requested

Motion to Approve Resolution 2016-009 Appointing Steven and Eileen Scott to Beyond the
Yellow Ribbon.

Attachment

Attachment A: Resolution 2016-009
CONSENT ITEM – 6D

MEMORANDUM
