CONSENT ITEM – 5J <br />City of Arden Hills <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE:March 28, 2016 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Sue Iverson, Acting City Administrator <br />FROM: Jill Hutmacher, Community Development Director <br />SUBJECT: Resignation of Michael Hands <br />Requested Action <br />Motion to accept the resignation of Michael Hands from the Arden Hills Economic Development <br />Commission (EDC). <br />Background <br />Michael Hands has submitted his resignation from the EDC due to work commitments. As <br />stated in the City ordinance the vacant commission position will resume with the term of the <br />resigning commission member. <br />With the acceptance of Mr. Hand’s resignation, the EDC will have five members and four <br />vacancies. <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that the City Council accept the resignation of Michael Hands from the Arden <br />Hills Economic Development Commission. <br />Attachment <br />Letter of resignation – March 20, 2016
