PowerPoint Presentation <br /> Overview <br /> ® Last week Dave Reimer, Guidant Director of Facilities, contacted staff and indicated that the <br /> Guidant Foundation was interested in the possibility of funding a bandshell/performance pavilion <br /> somewhere in the metro area where Guidant has a presence. In addition, they are interested in <br /> funding a summer concert series. At that point, Dave requested that we review any options that <br /> might be available in Arden Hills so a preliminary proposal could be presented to the Foundation <br /> for discussion purposes. In response, staff has prepared some preliminary information for <br /> Council discussion/direction. In particular, staff has done the following: <br /> ➢ Evaluated other bandshells in the area <br /> ➢ Identified potential sites where the bandshell could be located <br /> Examples of other bandshells/performance pavilions and possible sites are outlined in the <br /> attached PowerPoint presentation. <br /> Requested Action <br /> 1.
