Coaches requested it too for line-up info. <br />Require that all teams in co -community leagues wear batting helmets for everyone's <br />safety — not so much as a batter but as a base runner. There was one team that didn't <br />wear them. <br />Team should have been smaller. <br />It would be nice if the same group of kids could be together again next year (whoever <br />signs up) with the same coaches if they volunteer again. This team was young and <br />continuity to next summer would be fun. <br />In general we felt there was good coaching and were pleased with the work on <br />developing skills. Our daughter felt that one of the coaches could have been more <br />positive/encouraging. <br />When there are more than 10 players at the game — everyone should still play the entire <br />game. OK to have 14 players in the field. <br />60 ft. baseline was too fafl! Bases?? 2 or 3 whiffle balls!H <br />3. ' <br />Judy & Mike Hoen were great coaches for this group. They are to be commended for <br />their enthusiasm, patience and gift for teaching skills & strategies to these new players! <br />Based on going to other cities, we've got facilities that are kept up better than <br />surrounding communities. Great job! <br />Few girls had any parents watching the game — Is there any way to stress that a few <br />parent "cheerleaders" at the games would mean a lot to these girls? <br />Jessie had a great time! She hadn't been in softball before and this was a great <br />introduction. Mike & Judy Hoen do a good job of teaching the skills and teamwork in a <br />very positive environment. <br />
