-2- <br />7. Project Description <br />The proposed project consists of five buildings located per the Tony Schmidt County Park <br />Master Plan previously approved by the City of Arden Hills. The five buildings are as <br />follows: <br />a. Picnic Pavilion, includes covered and open picnic areas, small prep <br />kitchen and restroom facilities for both sexes. The Picnic Pavilion is <br />located at the top of the hill on the north of the large parking area. <br />b. Picnic Shelter, includes covered and open picnic areas and is located <br />east of the large parking area north of Lake Johanna Boulevard. <br />C. Beach Building, includes restroom facilities, changing rooms, vending <br />area (no concessions) and facilities for the lifeguards. The building is <br />located north of the existing beach, south of Lake Johanna Boulevard set <br />back 75 feet from the ordinary high water mark. <br />d. Gazebo, a covered shelter for sitting only overlooking Lake Johanna. It <br />is located east of the beach parking lot south of Lake Johanna <br />Boulevard. No picnic tables are to be provided at this location. <br />e. Restroom Building (2 locations), restroom facilities for men and women <br />having two fixtures and lavatories each. One is located adjacent to the <br />parking lot near the boat launch south of Lake Johanna Boulevard and <br />the second is located northeast of the Picnic Shelter. <br />All buildings are located per the approved building pad locations which have utilities <br />stubbed in per the approved park master plan. <br />8. Site Plan <br />2 full size copies of the overall site plan showing the building locations and 2 copies 11" <br />by 17" reduced site plan drawings. <br />9. Lighting Plan <br />No site lighting is being provided for the park as part of this project. Minimal security <br />lighting of the buildings is to be provided and will be incorporated into the soffits or <br />ceilings. No light sources will be visible from adjacent properties. The security lighting <br />will not provide enough to use the facilities after hours. <br />10. Utilities Plan <br />Utilities have been provided per previously submitted and approved site plan from Sander <br />Wacker Bergly. <br />11. Landscape Plan <br />No landscaping is anticipated as part of this project other than repair of damaged areas <br />from construction. Ramsey County Parks and Recreation Department will prepare any <br />additional landscaping plans/changes. <br />
