i <br />#10. Continued - <br />Would like the season to start sooner and last 1 week longer. <br />It was a concern, but everyone turned out to be in the same boat. We <br />played shorter quarters to make up for players missing. It worked out <br />fine. <br />Leave as is, families choose vacation weekends other than MEA in the <br />fall. Do not shorten season. <br />11. For those of you who played against other cities, how well did that work out? Did <br />the players enjoy traveling? <br />- It worked out well, the players enjoyed the experience. <br />- The players enjoyed traveling. The only problem we had was with the <br />MV teams wanting to play with 11 players. <br />- My 7th grade daughter and niece and nephew were on the traveling team <br />and they really enjoyed it. The parents also enjoyed it. I think it would <br />be great to get more cities involved that are close by. For example: St. <br />Anthony, Fridley, Little Canada, etc... <br />- Fair, Need to coordinate "rules" with the other cities. <br />12. Was it helpful having a field coordinator and water jugs at the fields? <br />- Yes, very nice touch! <br />- Yes, great to have city support. Water jugs could be more central. (at the <br />picnic area by the playground) <br />- I noticed that the water was used by the families and the players who <br />forgot their water. <br />- Water was a great idea. I don't know what the "field coordinator" did?? <br />- Yes, very much! <br />- Great ideas! Very "participant friendly"! <br />- Yes, very much so. <br />- Yes <br />- Yes, referees and coordinator were great; It was helpful to get messages <br />and items back and forth. <br />13. Any additional comments? <br />- Program gets better every year! <br />- Referees did a good job! Thanks! On picture day the company came late <br />and sent only one person. I was also unimpressed with her level of <br />professionalism. <br />- This is a great program and benefits lots of kids. Keep up the good work! <br />- Thanks for a great season Michelle. You did a great job putting <br />everything together. Everything flowed very smoothly. <br />- We had a great season <br />- We had lots of fun and appreciate Arden Hills Parks & Recreation Dept.! <br />- I thought things went pretty smooth. I would like to see one coach from <br />each team on the field to cut down on the yelling from the sidelines. <br />- The program was well organized and the pinnies were a big help. We <br />had a lot of fun! Great Job! <br />- Thank You! <br />
