AGENDA ITEM – 1J <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br /> <br />DATE: April 18, 2016 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Sue Iverson, Interim City Administrator/Director of Finance and Admin Services <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Summer Hours 2016 <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />Annually the City Council makes a decision on whether or not to approve summer hours for the City. These <br />hours generally run from Memorial Day until Labor Day each year, although there have been a few <br />exceptions in the past. The City Hall hours change during this period to 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – <br />Thursday and Friday 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Public Works hours change during this period to 6:30 a.m. – <br />4:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday and Friday from 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Staff would like direction from the Council on whether or not they would like to proceed and approve <br />summer hours for 2016 at its next City Council meeting. <br /> <br />
