Moore, Parks & Recreation Director l k6m-t", <br />SUBJECT: Tuesday, June 22, 1999 Agenda <br />Here is a brief summary of the major items listed on the June 22, 1999 Agenda: <br />Arden Oaks Play Structure: Council approved the replacement and professional <br />installation of this structure at the June 14, 1999, meeting. Staff is working with the <br />Miracle Playground Equipment Company on an installation date. Appropriate letters will <br />be sent to the two other Playground Equipment Companies that were not awarded the bid. <br />Arden Manor Projects: Materials are enclosed. Mr. Graham Stones, ASLA, a Landscape <br />Architect from BRW, will attend the meeting. He will provide a description of BRW's <br />findings and answer any questions. Staff is seeking direction on how to proceed. <br />Round Lake Trail Extension: Council gave approval to Staff & BRW to proceed with <br />easement attainments with the purpose of extending the existing Welch property trail all <br />the way to Highway 96. <br />Bethel: As directed by the Committee, Staff requested and received the Intramural <br />schedule from Bethel College. The Intramural program will take place on Saturday's <br />during the academic year, August 23 — May 15. The program takes place over a four <br />hour time period. It is not important to Bethel whether or not the program takes place in <br />the morning (8:00 am — Noon) or in the afternoon (1:00 p.m. — 5:00 p.m.) <br />Budget: The 2000 process has started. The 1999 CIP items were reviewed and the 2000 <br />CIP items were discussed. <br />0 <br />
