MINUTES <br /> PARKS, TRAILS & RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> TUESDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2000, 7:00 P.M. <br /> ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> 4634 W. ROUND LAKE ROAD <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairperson Johnson called the December 19, 2000 meeting of the Parks, Trails and <br /> Recreation Committee to order at 7:08 p.m. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT <br /> Members present were Jim Johnson, Don Messerly, Don Tix, Rich Straumann (arrived at <br /> 8:14 p.m.), Jim Crassweller, Tom Moore, Council Liaison David Grant (arrived at 7:34 <br /> p.m.), and Joan Lenzmeier, Recording Secretary. <br /> MEMBERS ABSENT <br /> Members absent were Louis Speggen, Patrick Krenn and Steve Zilmer. <br /> APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> The Agenda was approved by consensus. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> None. <br /> COUNCIL LIAISON REPORT <br /> Mr. Moore reported the Council approved a City logo depicting a hill with the tree in <br /> green and tan. The banners for the 501" anniversary celebration have been approved. The <br /> banners will be hung on the lampposts along County Road E. Extra banners will be <br /> ordered to place strategically around the City. The Parks and Recreation Comprehensive <br /> Plan was approved not to exceed$60,000. <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMPREHENSIVE PARK PLAN UPDATE <br /> Mr. Moore told the Committee he had invited Greg Ingram of Ingram and Associates to <br /> the meeting and will ask him to update the timeline he had provided concerning the <br /> Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Mr. Moore told the Committee Mr. Ingram's company had won the bid to update the <br /> athletic facilities for District 621. Mr. Moore noted there would be a meeting on <br />
