Moore, Parks and Recreation Director <br /> FROM: Michelle Olson, Program Supervisor MO <br /> SUBJECT: 2000/2001 Ice Rink Statistics <br /> Attached you will find the final attendance statistics for the 2000/2001 Ice Rink Season. <br /> I have also included statistics from the 1998/1999 and 1999/2000 seasons for comparison <br /> reasons. The rinks were open this season from December 18, 2000-February 11, 2001. <br /> I. Attendance <br /> Our totals this year are up significantly from years past. They rented 3 of our rinks (Cummings/Hazelnut/Perry) from <br /> 8:30-10:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday for approximately 4 weeks for <br /> their broomball intramural league. The rental fee was $15.00 per hour. <br /> Attendance for general skaters, hockey skaters, and broomball went up <br /> significantly from last year. <br /> We had 3 Mounds View Hockey teams practice on our rinks this season. <br /> Last year we had only 1 team practice. <br /> II. Usage <br /> Again this season, Hazelnut Park was by far the most utilized rink of the <br /> five this season. The numbers at this rink went up 688 skaters from last <br /> winter. We did adopt a new city policy around the hockey rink at <br />
