<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-014 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE LIFT STATION #11 RECONSTRUCTION <br />PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement of the Lift <br />Station #11 Reconstruction Project, bids were received on Tuesday, March 19, at 10:00 a.m., <br />opened, and tabulated according to the law, and the following bids were received complying with <br />the advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER AMOUNT <br />Pember Companies Inc. $ 214,250.00 <br />Geislinger and Sons, Inc. $ 301,709.75 <br /> <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Pember Companies, Inc. of Menomonie, WI is the <br />lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $214,250.00; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN <br />HILLS, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Pember Companies, Inc. of Menomonie, WI, for $214,250.00 in the name <br />of the City of Arden Hills for the above improvements according to the plans and <br />specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of <br />the City Administrator. <br /> <br />2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all <br />bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder <br />and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br /> <br />
