,.It <br /> WREN.HILLS <br /> Approved: April 25, 2016 <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS,MINNESOTA <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> MARCH 14,2016 <br /> 7:00 P.M. -ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Grant called to order the regular City <br /> Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Present: Mayor David Grant, Councilmembers Brenda Holden, Fran Holmes, and <br /> Dave McClung <br /> Absent: Councilmember Jonathan Wicklund(excused) <br /> Also present: Interim City Administrator Sue Iverson; Community Development Director <br /> Jill Hutmacher; Acting Public Works Director John Anderson; and City Clerk Amy Dietl <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> 1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br /> motion to approve the meeting agenda as amended. The motion carried <br /> unanimously (4-0). <br /> 2. PUBLIC INQUIRIESANFORMATIONAL <br /> None. <br /> 3. PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS <br /> A. Northeast Youth and Family Services (NYFS) Report to the Council <br /> Jerry Hromatka, Northeast Youth and Family Services (NYFS), thanked the Council for their <br /> time. He updated the Council on the events taking place at NYFS noting that his organization's <br /> main goal is to help 5 to 21 year olds find out what is important in order to induce change. He <br /> indicated that 4,000 youth and families are helped by NYFS each year. He provided a summary <br /> on NYFS's three major program areas which are mental health, youth development and day <br /> treatment. He explained that there is a growing need for youth mental health services throughout <br />
