Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />• Thursday, September 29 <br /> <br />Staff and the EDC discussed having the evening event focus on the TCAAP redevelopment <br />project and inviting the Master Developer to attend. This would allow the City to provide <br />residents with an update on the project and give the Master Developer an opportunity to <br />introduce themselves to the community. The EDC recommended that the event have an open <br />house format that would allow for interaction and be convenient for families to attend. Staff <br />recommends that the open house be scheduled for August or September, depending on when <br />Alatus could be ready. <br /> <br />Questions: <br />1. Would the City Council like to hold a business-focused State of the City event in 2016? <br />2. Does the City Council support the EDC’s recommendation for this year’s events? <br />3. If so, as staff works to co nfirm speakers, should any of the dates listed above be avoided? <br />4.
