Table for additional information. <br /> <br /> <br />Notice <br /> <br />Although a variance does not require a public hearing, a public meeting notice was prepared by <br />the City and mailed to properties within 350 feet of the subject property. <br /> <br /> <br />Public Comments <br /> <br />The City received a letter from the neighboring property owners at 1528 Edgewater Avenue on <br />August 3, 2016 expressing their concern about the impact of the proposed addition on their <br />property. A second letter was submitted to the City on September 7, 2016 by Ashley Mitlyng, <br />Mitlyng Design, on behalf of Maureen Shannon and Ray Conroe further outlining their concerns <br />specifically as they relate to drainage and water flow issues. Copies of both letters have been <br />provided in Attachment E. <br /> <br />The applicants circulated a support letter that was signed by six households in the neighborhood. <br />A copy of this letter has been included in Attachment F. <br /> <br /> <br />Deadline for Agency Actions <br /> <br />The City of Arden Hills received the completed application for this request on July 18, 2016. <br />Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute, the City must act on this request by September 16, 2016 (60 <br />days), unless the City provides the petitioner with written reasons for an additional 60-day <br />review period.
