--A�EN�HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2016-029 <br /> ABATEMENT OF A NUISANCE at 1927 County Road D W <br /> WHEREAS,Richard & Amy Thompson is the property owner of the following described <br /> property: <br /> Address: 1927 County Road D W <br /> PID: 333023340100 <br /> Legal Description:Ex S 33 Ft For Co Rd D The E 65 Ft Of W 17o Ft Of S 22o Ft Of Se 114 Of <br /> Sw 114 Of Sec 33 Tn 30 Rn 23 <br /> WHEREAS,notice therefore was posted on said property and sent certified mail to the property <br /> owner pursuant to City Regulations; and, <br /> WHEREAS,this abatement was initiated pursuant to the City of Arden Hills Municipal Code; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS,the Arden Hills City Council held a hearing on September 12, 2016. All persons <br /> present at said meeting were given an opportunity to be heard and present written statements. <br /> The Council also considered the recommendation of the City Staff that this abatement be <br /> approved; and, <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL <br /> hereby adopts Resolution 2016-029, ordering the abatement of noxious weeds and vegetation <br /> growth that does not comply with City regulations at 1927 County Road D W, and to charge the <br /> property owner for 125 percent of the cost of abatement, including administrative costs. The City <br /> Administrator is authorized to monitor the property through September 12, 2018; and to abate <br /> any noxious weeds and vegetation that does not comply with City regulations, and to charge to <br /> the property owner for each subsequent abatement 125 percent of the cost of abatement, <br /> including administrative costs; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, In the event that the property owner does not pay any portion <br /> of the charges, that the unpaid amount shall be assessed against the Property, to be collected with <br /> the real estate taxes in the year in which this Resolution is recorded, together with an Affidavit of <br /> Cost incurred, and that any assessments levied pursuant to this Resolution shall bear interest at <br />
