32 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS <br /> <br />Function: General Government <br />Supervisor: Director of Finance and Administrative Services <br />Fund#: 101 <br />Activity#: 41940 <br /> <br />Activity Scope <br /> <br />This department captures all of the operation/maintenance related costs for the City Hall and <br />Government Building facilities. <br /> <br />The City entered into a contract with Ramsey County for a joint maintenance facility located just <br />west of City Hall off County Road 96 on Paul Kirkwold Drive. The new facility was completed <br />and occupied as of October, 2004. The City’s portion of the Ramsey County maintenance <br />facility is charged to this budget. <br /> <br />Objectives <br /> <br />1. Maintain a reputable facility to house meetings and staff. <br /> <br />Issues <br /> <br />1. Normal maintenance and repair issues as the building (City Hall) has now been in <br />operation for twelve years. <br /> <br />Measurable Workload Data <br /> <br />None developed at this time. <br /> <br />Budget Commentary <br /> <br />The 2017 budget is an increase of 3.26% from the previous year’s budget. This increase is <br />primarily due to increases in maintenances costs of the City Hall building and Personal Services. <br /> <br />
