CONSENT ITEM—611 <br /> 'It <br /> ,-ARZEN HILLS <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: June 27, 2016 <br /> TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> Susan Iverson, Acting City Administrator <br /> FROM: John Anderson, Acting Public Works Director <br /> SUBJECT: Resolution Supporting Ramsey County's Request for Federal Funding for <br /> Lexington Avenue Road Improvements <br /> Requested Action <br /> Approve Resolution 2016-020 Supporting Ramsey County's Request for Federal Funding for Lexington <br /> Avenue Road Improvements. <br /> Back2round/Discussion <br /> Ramsey County intends to submit a federal funding request for reconstruction of Lexington Avenue <br /> between County Road E and I-694. The work would involve a concrete inlay much like is currently <br /> under construction on Lexington Avenue north of I-694. Additionally, a traffic signal would be added at <br /> the South driveway to Target and future location of Roberts Lexington Station future phase. Also <br /> included would be sidewalk connection through this corridor on the west side of Lexington Avenue and <br /> some turn lane improvements. <br /> Ramsey County has requested that the City of Arden Hills approve a resolution of support for the federal <br /> funding request.
