CONSENT ITEM—6K <br /> -iVEN HILLS <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: June 27, 2016 <br /> TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> FROM: Sue Iverson, Interim City Administrator, Director of Finance and Admin Services <br /> SUBJECT: Authorization for Internally Post for the Position of Interim Public Works <br /> Superintendent <br /> Background <br /> On June 20, 2016, the City Council received a letter from Joe Mooney submitting his resignation effective <br /> July 20, 2016, as the Superintendent and returning to the bargaining unit as a Public Works Maintenance <br /> Worker. The Personnel Committee recommends that the Council posts internally for an Interim Public <br /> Works Superintendent until a new City Administrator and Public Works Director can be hired. <br /> Staff Recommendation <br /> Motion to authorize staff to internally post the position of Interim Public Works Superintendent with an <br /> effective start date of July 21,2016. <br />
