CONSENT ITEM – 5E <br />City of Arden Hills <br />City Council Meeting for November 28, 2016 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />November 28, 2016 <br />Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Sue Iverson, Acting City Administrator <br />Eric Zweber, AICP, Interim City Planner <br />SUBJECT: Planning Case #16-024 <br />Applicant: MedExpress <br />Property Location: 1150 County Road E West <br />Request: Final PUD Development Agreement <br />Requested Action <br />Motion to approve the PUD Development Agreement, Phase 2, based on the November 14, <br />2016, City Council consideration of Planning Case 16-024. <br />Background <br />On November 14, 2016, the City Council considered Planning Case 16-024 for a Master Planned <br />Unit Development (PUD) Amendment for the construction of a neighborhood medical clinic at <br />1150 County Road E West. At that meeting, the City Council added the following condition: <br />The Developer shall submit a cash escrow in the amount of $6,000.00 for the <br />construction of a sidewalk between Arden Plaza and the Red Cross Site to the <br />west, located at 1160 County Road E West, along with dedicating a sidewalk <br />easement to the City pursuant to the “Red Cross Sidewalk Improvements / Option <br />1” diagram prepared by WSB & Associates, Inc., and approved by the City. This <br />requirement for a cash escrow and sidewalk easement shall expire twenty-four
