This <br />was a complete revision to current statutes and approved by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />While reviewing the policy under Non-Exempt (Overtime-Eligible Employees, staff noted that <br />the workweek did not coincide with the City’s past practice. The Personnel Committee <br />discussed this and it was determined to use the same definition that was in the union contract. <br />Attached is a redline of the page with the corrected language. <br /> <br />Council Action <br />Motion to Amend the Personnel Policy to read the workweek begins a midnight on Saturday and <br />runs until the following Friday night at 11:59 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />Attachments <br />Attachment A: Page 35 of the Personnel Policy <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEM – 1D <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br />
