Joynes, Sr., City Administrator <br /> Sue Iverson, Director of Finance and Administrative Services <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Appointment of Customer Service Specialist <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />At the January 9, 2017, City Council Meeting, the City Council authorized staff to advertise for the <br />vacancy in the Customer Service Specialist position due to moving Britt Pease into the position of <br />Office Support Specialist. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />In total, the City received 118 applications for the Customer Service Specialist position. Three <br />rounds of interviews were held by various City staff, including the City Administrator. Staff’s <br />recommendation is to appoint Sue Johnson. Attached is a copy of her application and resume for <br />your review. <br /> <br />References and Criminal background checks have been completed. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />1.
