Joynes, Sr., City Administrator <br /> FROM: Julie Hanson, City Clerk <br /> SUBJECT: Authorization to Appoint Park and Recreation Seasonal Workers <br /> Background <br /> At its meetings on Monday, April 10 and April 24, 2017, the City Council was provided information <br /> pertaining to seasonal hire recommendations for Park and Recreation. At that time, there were <br /> additional positions that remained open. <br /> Discussion <br /> Staff continued to interview applicants for Park and Recreation positions that remained unfilled and <br /> proposes filling the following additional positions: <br /> • Playground Leader(5 new staff and 8 returning staff for a total of 13 positions) <br /> • After School Instructor/Staff Helper(3) <br /> Staff Recommendation <br /> Authorize appointment of Park and Recreation seasonal workers as follows: <br /> • Playground Leaders: Nathan Duchens, Adam Gaskill, Grace Lindmark, Soren Schramm and <br /> Anna Smith (new) <br /> • Playground Leaders: Anika Agerlie, Mary Favo, Jeanna Lavalle, August Lindberg, Grant <br /> Mohlenhoff, Alyssa Parra, Alex Gillespie and Eric Lillehagen (returning). It should be noted <br /> Alex Gillespie and Eric Lillehaugen were previously approved by the City Council for the <br /> position of park attendant/after school instructor; therefore their application materials are not <br /> attached hereto. <br /> • After School Instructors/Staff Helpers: Alyssa Lillehaugen, Zach Mohlenhoff and Jonas <br /> Neururer(new) <br /> Attachments: <br /> A: Park and Recreation Seasonal Application Materials <br />
