ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL —APRIL 24, 2017 11 <br />Councilmember Holmes discussed a message she received from Jim Hanton noting there would <br />be an event focusing on the importance of teaching children to swim on Tuesday, May 4th from <br />5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Minneapolis Renaissance Hotel. <br />Councilmember Holden commented on the annual Easter Egg Hunt and noted 144 children <br />signed up for the event. <br />Councilmember Holden requested staff amend the language for Planning Case approvals. <br />Mayor Grant recommended this item be addressed further offline. <br />Councilmember McClung thanked Sue Polka and the Public Works crews for addressing the <br />water issue in his neighborhood in a timely manner. <br />Mayor Grant encouraged the Council to consider completing a ride along with the Ramsey <br />County Sheriff's Department to learn more about law enforcement. <br />Mayor Grant was pleased to report the new lighting had been installed on the County Road E <br />bridge. <br />Mayor Grant expressed several concerns with the dog park at Perry Park and requested staff look <br />into the fencing. <br />Mayor Grant noted the Arden Hills Cleanup Day would be held on Saturday, May 20th <br />Mayor Grant commented on a recent article in Twin Cities Business on Fortune 500 <br />headquarters. He was surprised to see that Land O'Lakes had been overlooked in the article.
