ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL — APRIL 24, 2017 2 <br />to be completed. He anticipated the treatment would be minor but would have to be conducted <br />prior to the sale of the property. He estimated the land would be sold later this year, grading <br />would begin in 2018 with construction beginning in 2019. <br />Mayor Grant commented the utilities for the road that would connect County Road H to County <br />Road I would be paid for by the County. <br />Councilmember Holden stated she was surprised the County had pushed so hard to have the City <br />complete the Master Plan when the water contamination was known about last summer and would <br />delay the project by at least a year. She asked if the May 1St JDA meeting would be held. <br />City Administrator Joynes explained this meeting may be canceled as there were no items for <br />the JDA to address. <br />Councilmember Holmes questioned what cities would be involved in the water contamination <br />issue. <br />City Administrator Joynes reported the cities of New Brighton and St. Anthony would be <br />involved. <br />B. Spring 2017 Community Cleanup Day Update <br />Senior Planner Bachler reported the Spring Cleanup Day event is scheduled for Saturday, May <br />20th from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It will be held at the Ramsey County Public Works Facility at <br />1425 Paul Kirkwold Drive. The event is co-sponsored by Arden Hills and Shoreview and is open <br />to residents of both cities. Residents that participate in the event will pay a small fee based on <br />vehicle type and load. Car loads will be charged $10; trucks, sport utility vehicles, and vans will <br />be charged $25; and small trailers will be charged $35. Oversized loads, such as U -Haul trucks, <br />will be subject to extra charges. Proof of residency, such as a driver's license or utility bill, is <br />required. Payment will only be accepted in the form of cash or check. No credit cards will be <br />accepted. Notice of the Spring Cleanup Day event is being advertised on the City's website and <br />Facebook page, and a flyer will be mailed to all City residents. <br />4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. April 10, 2017 City Council <br />MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to approve the April 10, 2017, Regular City Council meeting minutes <br />as presented.
