WHEREAS, the Candlelight Vigil is part of National Police Week, which takes place <br />this year from May 15-21; NOTE: Because May 15, 2016 falls on a Sunday, some events will <br />take place before the official dates of police week 2016. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, May 15 is designated as Peace Officers Memorial Day, in honor of all <br />fallen officers and their families; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the service and sacrifice of RAMSEY COUNTY SUBURBAN LAW <br />ENFORCEMENT officers killed in the line of duty will be honored during the SUBURBAN <br />RAMSEY COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT MEMORIAL CEREMONY, on May 12, <br />2016; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL <br />formally designates May 15-21, 2016, as Police Week in THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, <br />and publicly salutes the service of law enforcement officers in our community and in <br />communities across the nation. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />__________________________ ___________________________ <br />David Grant, Mayor Brenda Holden, Councilmember <br /> <br /> <br />___________________________ ___________________________ <br />Fran Holmes, Councilmember Dave McClung, Councilmember <br /> <br /> <br />___________________________ <br />Jonathan Wicklund, Councilmember
