ARDEN HILLS PLANNING COMMISSION – July 6, 2011 6 <br /> <br />5.A. Report from the City Council (continued) <br /> <br />proposal for the Holiday Inn site. The City will be having a Community Meeting on <br />August 4 to discuss the Vikings Stadium. It will be held at the Ramsey Public Works <br />Facility, in the Marsden Room, and it is tentatively scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Chair Larson asked if the Stadium was dependant on the Legislature passing the bill that <br />is before them at this time before they are able to move forward. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes stated even if the Legislature passes the bill that is before them, <br />a stadium is guaranteed to occur in Arden Hills. It must pass through the Legislature in <br />order to move forward but there are other things that must occur as well before the <br />stadium could be built. <br /> <br />B. Planning Commission Comments and Requests <br /> <br />Chair Larson stated the Planning Commission is short one person and one alternate. If <br />anyone is interested they can apply on the City’s website. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Commissioner Thompson moved, seconded by Commissioner Holewa, to adjourn <br />the July 6, 2011, Planning Commission Meeting at 6:57 p.m. The motion carried <br />unanimously (4-0). <br />
