Joynes, Sr., City Administrator <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Interim Director of Administrative Services/Finance Director <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />As Council is aware, Sue Iverson has been granted an extended leave of absence that will likely <br />continue through most of the summer. During this time we have the normal budget process to <br />manage and a number of other finance and administrative tasks that need attention. They include <br />the initiation of utility rate studies, the development of a comprehensive communications <br />program, and review of our internal record keeping system and IT functions. We have been <br />fortunate to have Dave Perrault on staff serving as our Finance Analyst the last several years. He <br />would be my recommendation to fill the position of Interim Director of Administrative Services / <br />Finance Director, effective June 1, 2017. Dave holds a Master’s degree in Business <br />Administration and a Master’s degree in Public Administration and has served the City well <br />since his hire. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommended Action <br />Appoint David Perrault as Interim Director of Administrative Services / Finance Director, <br />effective June 1, 2017. I recommend his salary to be set at $7,084 per month and that he be <br />vested with all responsibility and oversight appropriate for this position. <br /> <br />CONSENT – 5D <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br />
