<br />1 <br /> <br />Joint Development Authority <br /> TCAAP Redevelopment Project <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />DATE: June 1, 2015 <br /> <br />TO: Joint Development Authority Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />FROM: Jill Hutmacher, JDA Development Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Development Director’s Report <br /> <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />n/a n/a n/a <br /> <br /> <br />TCAAP Redevelopment Code <br /> <br /> On Monday, May 26, 2015, the City Council preliminarily approved the TCAAP Redevelopment Code <br />(TRC) and authorized staff to prepare the draft Comprehensive Plan Amendment and publish notice for <br />public hearings tentatively scheduled for July 8, 2015. <br /> <br />Subsequent to the County Board presentation on May 26 and prior to preliminary approval, the Council <br />made a minor adjustment in the land use table, reducing the maximum density in the NB-3 subdistrict <br />from 8 to 6.75 units per acre. Please see the attached land use table. <br /> <br />The City Council will consider any comments provided at the Public Hearings prior to authorizing <br />submittal of the CPA for adjacent jurisdiction and Metropolitan Council review. The City Council will <br />make final approval of the TRC and CPA following Metropolitan Council review. This is expected to <br />occur in late Fall 2015. <br /> <br />A presentation on the planning process, market considerations, and next steps for the JDA will be <br />provided on June 1.
