The City Council’s goals for the water amenity were <br />discussed. <br /> <br />Ms. Hutmacher explained the City Council reviewed the draft AUAR on April 14, 2014. The draft <br />AUAR and Mitigation Plan was published in the Environmental Quality Board Monitor on April <br />28, 2014. The document was also sent to adjacent cities, the Mounds View School District, Rice <br />Creek Watershed, the Minnesota National Guard, and other stakeholders and interested <br />parties. Public comments on the draft AUAR would be accepted until May 28, 2014. She <br />reported the Council was tentatively scheduled to approve the final AUAR on July 28, 2014. <br /> <br />Ms. Hutmacher indicated the City submitted a Project Concept Plan, for the Livable <br />Communities Demonstration Account (LCDA), on Thursday, May 1, 2014. The application <br />includes a request for $1,605,000 in LCA funds for sidewalks, trails, lighting, landscaping, site <br />preparation grading, architecture and engineering for the TCAAP project. <br /> <br />Ms. Hutmacher reviewed the upcoming City meeting schedule with the JDA. <br /> <br />Administrative Director’s Report <br /> <br />Administrative Director Worthington presented the April activity report. She noted Building <br />502 would be demolished this month. It was noted on June 6, 2014 t here would be a <br />celebration for the 70th Anniversary of D-Day. The County was working to bring together <br />veterans and previous workers at TCAAP for this event. <br /> <br />Commissioner Updates <br /> <br />Commissioner Holden suggested the JDA and staff work with the National Guard to coordinate <br />the ball fields that would be put in at TCAAP. <br /> <br />Ms. Worthington noted she had been in contact with representatives at the National Guard and <br />would continue to speak with them.
