Staff researched various processes, and developed the <br />following approach to meet the monthly meeting schedule of the JDA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. JDA would establish the advisory board and call for applicants at that meeting <br />2. The notice would be posted on the City and County websites, and at City Hall in writing <br />3. Applications would be received until the middle of the following month (about 2 weeks <br />prior to the next JDA meeting) <br />4. Applicants would submit an application form, along with their resume or curriculum <br />vitae <br />5. All JDA members could review candidates and recommend one candidate per <br />commissioner, with the JDA Chair appointing the chair of the advisory board <br />6. The majority of advisory board members would be either residents or business owners <br />in Arden Hills; all candidates must reside or own a business in Ramsey County. <br /> <br />Applicants would fill out the advisory board application form (attached). <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM 7A <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br />
