<br />1 <br /> <br />Joint Development Authority <br />Monday May 6, 2013 <br />Draft Minutes <br />Arden Hills City Council Chambers <br />5:30 pm <br /> <br />Present: <br />Joint Development Authority: Chair David Sand, Commissioner David Grant, Commissioner Blake <br />Huffman, Commissioner Raphael Ortega, Commissioner Brenda Holden <br />Also present: Pat Klaers, Jill Hutmacher, (Arden Hills); Heather Worthington, (Ramsey County); Mark <br />Ruff, (Ehlers); Mike Norton, (Kennedy & Graven); Mark Lenz, Bearence Management Group, Brian <br />Smalkoski,( Kimley-Horn & Assoc.) <br />Absent: <br />Nick Riley, (Ramsey County) <br /> <br />Roll call taken. <br /> <br />Approval of agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Grant seconded by Commissioner Huffman. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approval of 2/27/13 minutes. <br />Commissioner Holden recommended correcting the spelling from bi-laws to bylaws. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Grant seconded by Commissioner Huffman. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Public Inquiries/Informational <br />Gregg Larson addressed the Authority requesting to strike the first sentence reading “Public <br />inquiries/information is an opportunity for citizens to bring to the JDA’s attention any items not <br />currently on the agenda.” Chair Sand responded that a decision will be made before next month’s JDA <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Grant seconded by Commissioner Huffman. Motion carried. <br /> <br />JDA Bylaws <br />Mike Norton commented the bylaws can be changed as needed by the Authority. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Grant seconded by Commissioner Ortega.
