Our group works collaboratively within the group and with other <br />groups within the company to ensure the best value and over the top customer service for our <br />clients. In addition to Arden Hills, we provide day‐to‐day planning/economic development services <br />for 15 communities within Minnesota including Long Lake, North St. Paul, Ramsey, Maple Lake, <br />Wyoming, and Litchfield. While planning/economic development services are tailored to the client, <br />they can include: review of land use applications, building permit review, zoning administration, <br />preparing packets, staffing, presenting information at Planning Commissions and Economic <br />Development Authorities, business retention and expansion visits, and code enforcement. We can <br />also prepare marketing materials in the form of Community Profiles, which highlight properties for <br />sale and the community’s assets. Our community planners undertake special projects for cities <br />including small area planning, community engagement efforts, downtown planning, housing studies, <br />and comprehensive planning. <br /> <br />Work Scope <br /> <br />This project would include the analysis of how the community’s commercial and employment zones <br />can be adjusted to better maintain a vibrant, high-tech business community. Based upon this <br />approach we have developed the following scope of work for the project: <br /> Review of Master Plans for Campuses <br /> Identification of areas for use as higher education facilities <br /> Review of commercial and industrial zoning districts uses <br /> Options for higher education uses within Arden Hills <br /> Land and building availability and use for study area <br /> Job comparison and economic activity generated by different zoning uses <br /> Report for proposed zoning changes for areas and zoning code text <br /> <br />WSB’s Economic Development service is a comprehensive approach aimed directly at helping you <br />achieve your city’s economic goals and development objectives. We will utilize our expertise in <br />community development and planning to assist in all phases of the planning process from pre- <br />application to identifying potential funding opportunities and closing the deal.
