CALL MEETING TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chair Erickson called the meeting to order at 8:04 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Present: Chair Dan Erickson, Commissioners David Radziej, Kyle Lassen, Liz Johnson, and <br />Rob Williams <br /> <br />Also Present: Council Liaison Dave McClung, Senior Planner Matthew Bachler, and Deputy <br />Clerk Jolene Trauba <br /> <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Commission to accept the agenda as presented. <br /> <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Commission to accept the March 1, 2017 meeting minutes as <br />presented. <br /> <br /> <br />4. UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Business Retention and Expansion <br /> <br />Senior Planner Matthew Bachler stated that the Red Fox/Gray Fox business district will be the <br />focus of the BRE visits this year. He noted that the priority business list and survey have been <br />updated. He discussed the sample questions provided as guidelines. He suggested that one person <br />be the coordinator for each business visit and that there be two Commissioners and/or staff at each <br />visit. <br /> <br />Chair Dan Erickson wondered if they were going to be meeting with all of the businesses on the <br />list. <br /> <br />Senior Planner Bachler said that the goal would be to visit all ten of the businesses on the list.
