CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />PARKS, TRAILS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING <br />TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2015 <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br />CALL MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chair Straumann called the November 17, 2015, meeting of the Parks, Trails, and Recreation Committee <br />to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Rich Straumann and Committee Members Josh Bloyer, Keri Bloyer, <br />Harold Petersen, and Chuck Michaelson <br />OTHERS PRESENT: Staff Liaison Sara Grant <br />ABSENT: Committee Members Nancy O’Malley and John Van Valkenburg, and Council Liaison <br />Brenda Holden <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Chair Straumann noted the map provided would be utilized later in the discussion and pertained to the <br />PTRC’s goals and Work Plan. <br />MOTION:Committee Member Petersen motioned to approve the agenda and seconded by <br />Committee Member Michaelson. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – October 20, 2015 <br />MOTION:Committee Member Petersen motioned to approve the October 20, 2015, minutes and <br />seconded by Committee Member Michaelson. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br />3. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />A.Updated Park Amenities <br />Chair Straumann referenced the breakdown for Rice Creek Commons Parks which listed <br />what every park should include as well as the specific amenities at park locations A, B, C <br />and D as follows:
