10) TONY SCHMIDT REGIONAL PARK: The beautiful pavilions overlooks the compost what about
the view, smell and animals when people are picnicking in a pavilion for a family event or all the families
that use the picnic tables and BBQ’s on a beautiful Summer day. Do we want to smell garbage and be
concerned about animals?
11) WALKING TRAILS: Many residents use the hiking, dirt trails that run through the compost area,
people hike and walk through there with their children and dogs. Many people hike through their all the
time and it connects to the paved trails. People don’t want to be in fear when walking through there that we
would now encounter predatory animals.
Again, we are in support of recycling and composting just not at our Arden Hills Compost Site, in a
residential/park area. Don’t let the county dump garbage in our neighborhood!
