ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL – AUGUST 14, 2017 5 <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden asked if the neighborhood would be notified of the new signage. <br /> <br />Public Works Director/City Engineer Polka commented the City would be posting signage <br />notifying the neighborhood of the new stop signs. <br /> <br />The motion carried (5-0). <br /> <br /> B. Adopt Resolution 2017-2022 Receiving the Feasibility Report and Calling for <br />a Public Hearing on Improvements for the 2018 Street and Utility <br />Improvement Project (2018 PMP) <br /> <br />Public Works Director/City Engineer Polka stated on April 24, 2017 the Council adopted <br />Resolution 2017-012 ordering the preparation of a Feasibility Report for the 2018 Pavement <br />Management Program (PMP) project. This 2018 PMP consists of improvements to the following <br />streets: <br /> <br />Streets proposed for reconstruction: <br />• Indian Oaks Court between James Avenue and the cul-de-sac <br />• Indian Oaks Trail between Hamline Avenue N and the cul-de-sac <br />• W Floral Drive between Hamline Avenue N and the dead end <br />• James Circle between W Floral Drive and the cul-de-sac <br />• Gale Circle between W Floral Drive and the cul-de-sac <br />• Norma Circle between W Floral Drive and the cul-de-sac <br /> <br />Streets proposed for reclamation: <br />• Wedgewood Drive between Old S.T.H. 10 and the cul-de-sac <br />• Brueberry Lane between Old S.T.H. 10 and Parkshore Drive <br />• Parkshore Drive between Old S.T.H. 10 and the cul-de-sac <br /> <br />Public Works Director/City Engineer Polka explained that in accordance with Council <br />direction, a Feasibility Report has been prepared that details the proposed improvements, <br />neighborhood impacts, estimated costs and financing for the proposed project. Staff reviewed how <br />the project would be funded and recommended the Council receive the feasibility report and order <br />a Public Hearing to be held on September 25, 2017 for the 2018 PMP. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden asked if the residents were given rough estimates on the project costs at <br />the recent neighborhood meeting. <br /> <br />Public Works Director/City Engineer Polka reported staff had provided this information to the <br />neighbors in attendance. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes questioned if this project would include curb and gutter. <br /> <br />Public Works Director/City Engineer Polka stated this would be included in the project. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant inquired if the sewer lining was part of the combined project. <br />
