E 1LL <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2017-027 <br /> A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 2017 SEWER LINING PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisements for bids for the 2017 Sewer Lining project, bids <br /> were received on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., opened, and tabulated according to <br /> the law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Michels Corporation, Brownsville, Wisconsin, is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated bid price of$197,398.00; <br /> Bidder Bid Amount <br /> Hydro-Klean $305,644.40 <br /> Insituform Tech USA, LLC $210,614.90 <br /> Lametti and Sons, Inc. $205,389.00 <br /> Michels Corporation $197,398.00 <br /> SAK Construction, LLC $253,226.65 <br /> Veit& Company, Inc $247,488.00 <br /> Visu-Sewer $209,823.50 <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN <br /> HILLS, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The Mayor and City administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br /> with Michels Corporation, as recommended by the City Engineer, for $197,398.00 in the <br /> name of the City of Arden Hills for the above improvements according to the plans and <br /> specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the <br /> City Administrator. <br /> 2.
