,AVEN HILLS <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />SEPTEMBER 6,2017 8-00 AM <br />CITY HALL -- 1245 WEST HIGHWAY 96 <br />SUMMARY OF MEETING — NO QUORUM <br />Present: Commissioners Liz Johnson, Sheila Bennett Kilander, Brendan O'Meara and David <br />Radziej <br />Also Present: Senior Planner Matthew Bachler and Deputy Clerk Jolene Trau a <br />Senior Planner Matthew Bachler stated that there was an absence of a quorum of EDC <br />Commissioners. He noted that no motions or voting would occur until a quorum was recognized. <br />KH <br />4. UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS <br />A. 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update <br />Senior Planner Bachler distributed postcards for Commissioners to deliver to businesses. H <br />provided an update on the State of the City. The morning session will be on September 28, 2017 <br />7:30 a.m. at the Tavern Grill, complete with a full breakfast buffet. It is estimated there will be 8 <br />people in attendance. The evening session will be October 3, 2017 at City Hall. We a <br />oagobe Oobbe o <br />od r. <br />encuring RSVP's •n Eventrite. Thcter EDC meeting will likely cancellein lieu <br />the State•f the City events. �1 <br />C. Business Retention and Expansion Program <br />Senior Planner Bachler asked if members were having success contacting the businesses on the <br />list for interviews. He suggested tying postcard deliveries in with Business Retention Meetings. <br />
