<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: November 21, 2017 <br /> <br />TO: Parks Trails and Recreation Committee <br /> <br />FROM: Sara Knoll, Parks and Recreation Coordinator <br /> <br />SUBJECT: 2017 Johanna Marsh Playground Equipment Update <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The PTRC Committee and staff reviewed the comments that were submitted from the residents <br />of the Johanna Marsh neighborhood WSB provided the PTRC Committee with some concept <br />drawings of optional viewing areas for Johanna Marsh. Plans were reviewed by the PTRC <br />Committee and a concept design was chosen as the top choice. Due to the cost of the project the <br />City Council and City Staff have decided to move forward with the play structure only at this <br />time. The playground equipment was ordered through Minnesota/Wisconsin playgrounds and <br />the City of Arden Hills received a grant for $31,786.00 to help with the cost. <br /> <br />The playground equipment that was purchased is scheduled to be installed this spring. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
