<br />City of Arden Hills <br />Planning Commission Meeting for August 9, 2017 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: August 9, 2017 PC Agenda Item 5.A <br /> <br />TO: Planning Commission Chair Thompson and Commissioners <br /> <br />FROM: Matthew Bachler, Senior Planner <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Report from the City Council <br /> <br /> <br />July 24, 2017 City Council Regular Meeting <br /> <br />The City Council approved Planning Case 17-015 for a Conditional Use Permit for the Ramsey <br />County Public Health Department to continue operation of the existing yard waste collection <br />area and for the addition of a source separated organics drop-off at the Arden Hills yard waste <br />site. The Planning Commission reviewed this case at their regular meeting on July 5, 2017 and <br />recommended approval of the request. <br /> <br />The City Council approved Planning Case 17-016 for a Minor Subdivision at 1224 Amble Road. <br />The subdivision will create two conforming lots from the existing property. The Planning <br />Commission reviewed this case at their regular meeting on July 5, 2017 and recommended <br />approval of the request. <br /> <br />The City Council approved Planning Case 17-017 for a Minor Subdivision and Variance at 3420 <br />Fairview Avenue and 3417 Lake Johanna Boulevard. The request was for a lot line adjustment to <br />transfer 4,295 square feet of property from 3420 Fairview Avenue to 3417 Lake Johanna <br />Boulevard. A variance was needed for 3417 Lake Johanna Boulevard for the property to have a <br />lot width and landscape area of less than the minimum requirements for the R-2 District. The <br />Planning Commission reviewed this case at their regular meeting on July 5, 2017 and <br />recommended approval of the request. <br /> <br /> <br />
