Joynes, Sr., City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Julie Hanson, City Clerk <br /> <br />SUBJECT: 2018 Fee Schedule <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $ $ $ <br /> <br />Council Should Consider the Following Options <br /> <br />Adoption of Ordinance 2017-009 Approving the 2018 Fee Schedule and Authorization to <br />Publish the Summary Ordinance <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />A draft 2018 Fee Schedule was provided to the City Council at its work session on November <br />20, 2017. <br />Staff is proposing revisions to the draft fee schedule as follows: <br /> <br />• Section VI – Planning and Zoning: Addition of Right of Way Permit for Small Cell <br />Wireless Facilities - $150 for ROW permit fee per year (permit for up to 15 locations); <br />rent of $150 per year and maintenance fee of $25 per year (rent and maintenance fees are <br />per each location) <br />• Section VII – Utility Hookup Charges: Increase hydrant meter rental deposit fee from <br />$1700 to $2000 and increase rental permit fee from $20 to $170 <br /> <br />Please note the public hearing regarding the right of way ordinance amendment for small cell <br />wireless facilities was held on September 25, 2017. The above proposed fees reflect language <br />approved at the public hearing and are amounts allowed by State Statute.
