CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />SUMMARY ORDINANCE NO.2017-010 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, <br />LICENSES AND REGULATIONS, OF THE ARDEN HILLS CITY CODE <br />BY ADDING SECTION 395 - MOBILE FOOD UNITS <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on December 11, 2017, Ordinance No. 2017-010 <br />was adopted by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota. <br />NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, because of the lengthy nature of Ordinance No. <br />2017-010, the following summary of the ordinance has been prepared for publication. <br />NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the ordinance adopted by the City Council adds <br />Section 395, Mobile Food Units, to Chapter 3. <br />Section 395 defines and permits the operation and reasonable use of mobile food <br />units (including food trucks, food trailers and food carts) within the City. The <br />Ordinance explains the procedures on how to apply for and obtain a license, and <br />the required fees and insurance for operating a mobile food unit. In addition, <br />conditions of licensing and performance standards are laid out in detail, along <br />with prohibited practices and suspension or revocation of a license.
