Subscriber Network Drops to Designated Buildings. Grantee shall, at no cost to the City, <br />continue to provide Digital Starter or equivalent package of Cable Service and reception <br />equipment to up to three (3) outlets at all municipal government buildings, schools and public <br />libraries located in the City where Grantee provides Cable Service as listed on Exhibit A. The <br />City may request up to 5 additional municipal government buildings, schools, or public libraries <br />during the term of this Agreement, provided that the City shall pay the actual incremental <br />installation costs for any location in excess of 500 feet of Grantee's existing plant where the <br />recipient makes available conduit or aerial structures to accommodate the new facilities, or any <br />Drop in excess of two hundred fifty (250) feet. For purposes of this subsection, "school" means <br />all State -accredited K-12 public and private schools. Outlets of Basic and Expanded Basic <br />Service provided in accordance with this subsection may be used to distribute Cable Services <br />throughout such buildings; The City shall have the right to extend service to multiple outlets <br />within the building with the costs of constructing additional outlets the responsibility of the City; <br />provided such distribution can be accomplished without causing Cable System disruption and <br />general technical standards are maintained. Such outlets may only be used for lawful purposes. <br />If additional devices beyond the allocated amount per location provided above are needed to <br />serve additional outlets, those devices shall be made available at Grantee's best discounted rate. <br />All inside wiring shall be the responsibility of the City, or public institution, and subject to <br />service or repair by Comcast at standard rates. Any such institution located more than two <br />hundred fifty (250) feet shall be connected if such institution agrees to reimburse Grantee for <br />Grantee's actual costs in excess of the two hundred fifty (250) foot installation actual costs. <br />SECTION 3. CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS <br />1. Registration, Permits and Construction Codes. <br />a. Grantee shall strictly adhere to all state and local laws and building and <br />zoning codes currently or hereafter applicable to location, construction, installation, <br />operation or maintenance of the System in City and give due consideration at all times to <br />the aesthetics of the property. <br />b. Subject to the requirements of Section 9 (Dispute Resolution) below, <br />failure to obtain permits or comply with permit requirements shall be grounds for <br />revocation of this Franchise if such requirements are violated for significant construction <br />activities of an extended period of time or in a quantity and frequency so as to <br />demonstrate a wanton disregard for such requirements, or any lesser sanctions provided <br />herein or in any other applicable law. <br />10 <br />
