Table: Motion to table Planning Case 17-027 for two variances at 3415 Lake Johanna <br />Boulevard: a specific reason and/or information request should be included with a motion to <br />table. <br /> <br /> <br />Notice and Public Comments <br /> <br />Although a variance does not require a public hearing, a public meeting notice was prepared by <br />the City and mailed to properties within 350 feet of the subject property. <br /> <br />Staff received a phone call from the neighbor to the south of the property at 3407 Lake Johanna <br />Boulevard who expressed concerns about the proposed setbacks, the impact of the new structure <br />on stormwater runoff, and that the garage may not meet Building Code requirements. Staff also <br />received a phone call from the property owner at 1831 Noble Road who stated they opposed the <br />request. <br /> <br /> <br />Deadline for Agency Actions <br /> <br />The City of Arden Hills received the completed application for this request on October 25, 2017. <br />Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute, the City was required to act on this request by December 24, <br />2017 (60 days), unless the City provided the petitioner with written reasons for an additional 60- <br />day review period. <br /> <br />The applicant was notified on December 13, 2017 of the City’s request for an additional 60-day <br />review period. Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute, the City must now act on this request by <br />February 22, 2018. The City may, with the consent of the applicant, extend the review period <br />beyond the initial 120 days. <br /> <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />A.
