Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />DATE: February 26, 2018 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />David Perrault, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Sue Polka, Public Works Director/City Engineer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: 2018 Pavement Management Program <br />Final Plans/Ordering Advertisement for Bids <br /> <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $3,300,000 $3,300,600 PIR, Assessments <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br />Adoption of Resolution 2018-018 Approving Plans and Specifications and Ordering <br />Advertisement for Bids for the 2018 Pavement Management Program <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />The project includes reconstruction of Indian Oaks Court, Indian Oaks Trail, Floral Drive, <br />Norma Circle, Gale Circle and James Circle as well as reclamation of Brueberry Lane, Parkshore <br />Drive, and Wedgewood Circle. The public hearing was held on September 25, 2017. <br /> <br />The preparation of plans and specifications for each project was authorized by Resolution 2017- <br />035 which was adopted after the public hearing. The plans are now complete and ready for <br />bidding. Adoption of the resolution listed above will authorize the next step for the project: <br />approval of the plans and specifications and ordering the advertisement for bids. Bids will be <br />received on March 29, 2018. Following the bid opening the results will presented to the Council <br />on April 9, 2018, with the appropriate resolutions to proceed to an assessment hearing for each <br />project before awarding the construction contract. <br /> <br />This schedule should allow contract award in early May with construction starting by the end of <br />May.
