Approve the purchase of 2 Toro Zero Turn mowers from MTI Distributing in the amount <br />of $38,396.80. <br />2. Authorize the sale of 2 Toro Zero Turn mowers and 1 Toro Grounds Master mower at <br />auction. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br /> <br />2013 Toro Zero Turn Mowers (Units 451 and 452): <br />The 2018 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) includes an item for the replacement of two 2013 <br />Toro Zero Turn Mower (Units 451 and 452). A copy of the detailed sheet from the CIP is <br />attached (Attachment A). The mowers were under a 3-year factory warranty during which has <br />now expired. During the warranty period, an authorized Toro dealer has made warranty repairs <br />on Unit 451 a total of 9 times and on Unit 452 a total of 13 times. Current hours are 1,190 (Unit <br />451) and 1,117 (Unit 452). MTI Distributing provided a trade-in value for each mower of <br />$3,000. The projected auction value of the mowers is $5,000 each. <br /> <br />2001 Toro Grounds Master Mower with Attachments (Unit 432): <br />Staff is recommending approval to send Unit 432 to auction do to the lack of use with our new <br />Zero Turn and Large Area mower models. The projected auction value for this mower is $9,000 <br />and will include cab, mower deck, and broom attachments. Current hours are 2,306. <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEM – 6G <br /> MEMORANDUM <br />
