The City <br />Council gave authorization to post for the position in February. The City received 55 applicants, <br />and interviewed 12. The finalist was Mary Tomnitz. A conditional offer to Ms. Tomnitz has <br />been made pending City Council approval. She would be starting at Grade 9 Step 1, or $24.17 <br />per hour, and at Year 0, or six hours per pay period.
