<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE 2018 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT
<br />PROJECT
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2018 Street and Utility Improvement
<br />Project, the improvement of Wedgewood Circle, Parkshore Drive, Brueberry Lane, Indian Oaks Court,
<br />Indian Oaks Trail, Floral Drive, Norma Circle, Gale Circle, and James Circle, bids were received,
<br />opened, and tabulated according to the law, and the following bids were received complying with the
<br />advertisement:

<br /> Northwest Asphalt, Inc. $2,491,595.86
<br /> T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. $2,559,109.29
<br /> Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. $2,594,555.90
<br /> Park Construction Company $2,613,637.30
<br /> Northdale Construction Co., Inc. $2,628,143.42
<br /> Arnt Construction Co., Inc. $2,716,004.10
<br /> Ryan Contracting Co. $2,781,840.90
<br /> C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc. $3,127,871.52
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it appears that Northwest Asphalt, Inc. of Shakopee, Minnesota, is the lowest
<br />responsible bidder,
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
<br />HILLS, MINNESOTA:
<br />
<br />1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract
<br />with Northwest Asphalt, Inc of Shakopee, Minnesota in the name of the City of Arden Hills for
<br />the 2018 Street and Utility Improvement Project according to the plans and specifications
<br />therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
<br />
<br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
<br />made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest
<br />bidder i shall be retained until a contract has been signed.

<br /> ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 14TH
<br />DAY OF MAY, 2018.
